AURORA BELLE RAVEN - PORTRAIT STUDY
ACCOMPANYING THE STUDY:
Oh, to know reality....real reality, the one under all these layers of our perception, should it even exist. That is what fascinates Aurora Belle. By trade, she is an artist but, in her heart, she's just as much a psychophysicist. And the result is canvas after canvas of sensory wanderlust, offering pure potential; possible reality.
Aurora Belle is drunk in love with colour; how it isn't colour at all, but exquisite vibration to which our minds put value. The raison d'etre for her art has become an exploration of the relationship between sensation and perception. Opening our minds to possibility; to the experience that our senses, for biological or psychological reasons, don't currently acknowledge: Aurora Belle's art is about just this. She hopes to lower absolute thresholds of sensory stimuli to let in the world unknown and, along the way, is very much enjoying the creative journey.
